Tech influencers are a great way to grab a lot of attention.
We do need to remember that their followers might not always be the right consumers.
However, they listen to the people they follow and trust them.
I have been working multiple times with Pratham and Eddie Jaoude, but I never expect, and with a good reason, that one of their followers will be one of our consumers or, in our case - a customer.
Our main option is to use them as a "boost" to promote different agendas.
For example, we can become trending on GitHub.
We can ask them to tell people to come to our GitHub Repository and give us a star.
Another good example is to promote our post on DEV.to.
DEV.to gets a massive amount of visitors every month. However, their algorithm is easy.
Redirecting traffic to your articles is a great way to get them to be trending.
And guess what? Inside the article, you can add the call-to-action for a GitHub star.
